The effect of colour bleeding is a phenomenon in which objects are coloured by reflection of coloured light from nearby surfaces.
The strong color hidden underneath the elevated part of the plate subtlety influence the food served on top. The result of the research into a color glow is translated into a tableware collection.
The shape is determined by the colour bleeding tests. Distinguished by a refined simple lines with a playful twist.
Lume collection consist of a dinner plate Ø280 mm desert plate Ø230 mm and soup/salad/risotto plate Ø230 mm. Both the plates and the bowl are stackable. The plates stack with a slight shift creating an intriguing pattern while stored.
